In Aquazarus, you play a character entirely composed of water. You role is to brink back life in this arid land but you will lose some amount of water each step or jump you make. If you don't find a water source, you'll die. This game was made during ISART Digital's 2015 Gameweek and won the gameplay price, the theme was "A bad for a good".
My Role:
On this project, I have worked on the Game Design and the Level Design. I also implemented the menus.
In this game, if you take the most efficient way you will find a fountain to regenerate you just before you die. It has been calculated to always find one when needed.
We also had to adapt quickly to use this framework we never used before. We wanted to challenge ourselves and see if we could learn and be efficient in a week.
